Hi there! My name is Casey Plonski. I’m a former art teacher currently working as a first grade teaching assistant and creating artist.

My plan had always been to teach art, and I did that for four years at the secondary level. During my fourth year, I was teaching a beginner’s graphic design course and realized that I was way more excited by the projects I was coming up with than my students were. After a difficult experience teaching through the COVID-19 pandemic, I saw this as a sign that maybe my heart was really in the creative process, and I chose to leave teaching to follow that passion and excitement.

After leaving teaching, I started working as a freelance artist and graphic designer under the brand Casey Plonski Art. I enjoy working with clients to bring their visions to life. While working with clients, I realized I missed my students and began working as a paraprofessional at an elementary school.

I currently live with my fiancé, two cats, a dog, 25 chickens, a bunch of fish, and too many plants to count. When I’m not designing, I can be found working on one of my million art projects, gardening, or making home improvements.
